Adam, Lily and I rode with my parents to Mount Horeb, WI where the wedding was. We had lunch at a place called Buzz In which was an old fire station converted into a restaurant. The food was really good there. Then, since it was still super early Adam, Lily and I went swimming at our hotel's little water park. Lily had a blast of course and even took Dora swimming with her. She is so funny, she was too scared to go down the kiddie waterslide but she wanted to go down the big waterslide with Adam over and over.

After swimming we all got ready for the wedding. The actual wedding was at Tyrol Basin which is a really big ski hill. After we got there we soon realized that we had to ride the ski lift to get to the actual wedding. I was pretty scared but it ended up being pretty cool. My parents didn't want to go on the ski lift so they missed the wedding which was bad because it was really nice. Lily was super good and quiet during the wedding. She had fun playing with the little sailboats that they gave out (Kimmie's new last name is going to be Sailor so there was a nautical theme) After the ceremony we hung out for a while and then took Lily for a ride because she needed a nap. She slept for a little while but not long enough so then she just wanted to keep moving because she knew if she stopped she'd fall back asleep. So then she ran up and down the stairs and all over the place. For the dance they had a jazz band. Kimmie & Adam's first dance was really cool because they had taken dance lessons and had their dance was nicely choreographed. Lily had lots of fun dancing with another little girl on the dancefloor. We all were really tired so didn't stay until the end of the dance but I'm sure even thought Lily was exhausted she probably could have danced the night away. This weekend was another busy one. My Mom and I went to Jetta's baby shower in Bancroft. There wasn't any shower games but Mom, Pam, and I each won door prizes! My brother and family also came to visit. Lily and Johnny had a blast trying on everyone's shoes and trying to walk in them. Sunday we had yummy fish and also a pasta dish for the non-fish lovers. I used to hate fish but I guess in my old age that has changed :)

Becky planned a day of fun at the Lodge at Cedar Creek today. Lily and I, Mom & Dad, Cindy & Ron, Chris, Danielle, Zach, Becky & Mark, Nick, Braeden and Becky's friend Jane and her daughter. It was so much fun! Lily loved running around in the water, bouncing in the baby jumpers, spraying water at people, and overall getting very wet. Today, Lily and I went to the Bancroft parade with Mom & Dad, Cindy & Ron, Chris, Danielle, Zach, Becky & Mark, Nick & Braeden. It was a really nice day and Lily's bag was bulging with candy. Lily loves parades and I'm sure she'll be talking about the horse pooping for a while.

Cindy and family came to town. We went out to dinner at yummy Bill's pizza and then hung out while they watched the Packers/Steelers game. Lily, Zack and Braeden had a lot of fun playing together and then we capped off the evening with a little shopping and some Belt's ice cream!

Since Shaun and Sara were about to go back to Alaska, Billy decided to have a party at his house. Shaun and Sara brought their home brewed beer and everybody brought snacks. We basically just stood around outside talking and being silly. Lily had fun feeding their dog sticks most of the night. She also liked playing with their furry bunny too. After the party, everyone went to Joe's. Adam and I did the switcheroo so he went out first. At about midnight, we switched and I got to go out. Everyone was pretty silly by then so I got lots of cute and cuckoo pictures.

We went out to Partners tonight to celebrate Mark's birthday. We had fun chatting, drinking, and eating free popcorn. Aaron and Vanessa also played the hunting video game.

Today we had our trivia picnic at my parents house. We cooked out Hamburgers and Hot dogs and ate some of the leftover junk food from the Festivus contest. It was a nice day outside even though it had sprinkled a little. We hung out outside, played a little ladder golf, talked trivia, and played some trivia pursuit. VIDEO: Johnny playing guitar HERE

This weekend we played in the Festivus trivia contest. It's pretty close to real trivia but it's 27 hours long and written by three of the members of the Festivus trivia team. Playing was Adam, Shaun, Billy, Aaron, Eric, Mark and on & off Vanessa, Chad, and Boomer. The contest was a lot of fun and much more relaxing than the real thing so we got to be quite silly during some of the down time. One of the things we did was that we each tried some of this strawberry sour goo stuff (two of my favorite pictures of the reactions are below). We also found some "interesting" websites online. Adam bet Aaron that if we won by more than the 1400 points we won the contest by last year that Aaron had to eat 6 sucrets all at once...and we ended up winning by 4,000 points (see other photo below) We got a sweet trophy that we got at the awards ceremony Saturday night at Joe's Bar.
