Question mark
You scored 53% Sociability and 5% Sophistication!

You are the soul of the inquiring mind--you are the glory of the
scientist and the bane of the pseudo-scientist. But, more than that,
you, more than any other, can indicate changes in pitch in dialogue.
What other punctuation mark can do that? Yes, you are one of the
"common herd." So? The problem with that is . . . ? You get along well
with others, because they all respect you. You have no natural enemies.

My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

Why do I bother...

So, Adam and I invited a few of our friends to come over tonight. We first told them on Thursday when we went there to watch Survivor. Well, they all said they had nothing planned so that would be cool. Then, last night I talked to them all basically reminding them to come over and party at our place tonight. And again...they said they would...
THEN tonight, Adam talks to George and Shaun and Aaron on the phone. Aaron is not sure what he's going to do til Vanessa comes home...but George and Shaun say they'll be over in a little while then we will go to kwik trip to buy some beer. YOU KNOW WHAT? It's frickin' midnight and we haven't heard a damn word from anyone.
I don't know why people do this to me. Why should I put up with this crap?

Drunk.

So, we went to the Fur Ball which was quite the farce. We got there at 7:30 (1/2 hr after it started) then they played music for about 1/2 hour before they started reading the winners of all the raffles. This took until 10:45. So I don't know why they call it a Fur BALL if you have like no chance to dance. And the crap they did play wasn't very danceable anyways besides about 5 kids on the floor. And not even 1 slow song!
So, then Adam says he'll watch Lily so I can go meet the guys out at Fill's. I had already had 1 margarita at the Fur Ball and the through the night proceeded to have 3 screwdrivers and 2 shots of "Gummy Beary Juice" which is a shot with jaeger & root beer. Oh, and I hadn't eaten anything since 3pm that day.
Needless to say I was completely drunk. I got home and devoured a lunchable and dranks some water. I puked many times (including in the morning and afternooon) and felt like total crap. I'm told old for this!

Weekend fun

Well, Friday was the rivalry game of Stratford vs. Edgar. For the first 1/2 we sat in the stands with Adam's parents. Unfortuneatly a bunch of the Edgar fans decided to sit on the home side for some reason so that was annoying because we were surrounded. The second 1/2 we met our friends down by the sidelines and hung out. Stratford won as usual.
After the game our friends and Adam's parents all went to Stolps bar which is now Leroy's Last Cast (I think) We played 7-14-21 and I lost 3 times which meant 3 shots: Tequila, Jaeger, and Cherry Vodka. I was quite tipsy.
The rest of the weekend wasn't too exciting...we just basically sat around flipping channels on the TV in the Strat.

Columbus Day

Well, today wasn't all that thrilling. I'm addicted to the song "Sway" the version I have so far is Michael Buble. Seems like it's been in the majority of movies I've taken notes on so far this month. I've been on the ball with trivia note-taking. I'm up to date on my television shows which gives me oodles of time to do some cartoons and lots of movies. I've done 7 movies in October so far - much more in the next few days when I get my netflicks - damn holidays. I've also been recording a bunch of movies on my Moxi DVR so movie so I'll have some there to do tomorrow.
I made an apple quesadilla today with my quesadilla maker and some apple pie filling. It was pretty good - even though I somehow got the lid stuck and had to call in Adam to open it. I felt so girlie.
Goal for the week: Finish thank you notes for wedding gifts.

Friends Bad. Husband Good

Well, I don't know what is going on with my friends (on Franklin Street namely) lately. It seem they just don't want to hang out with Adam and I for some reason. I've talked to several of them online the last 3 times that we had absolutely nothing to do, practically begging them to call/msg us to do something. Nada. What is the problem? Did I do something?

On the bright side, Adam and I have been getting along great all weekend. We just hung out together all weekend alone (see above) and bonded. Healthwise I got sun/wind-burned on Saturday so today I was kinda tired. Adam took Lily and let me sleep for a while today which was really nice. He's got the headache/sore throat thing again so I'm sure that's coming for me in the future. bah.

Went to the new Kohls in town with my parents today because they had a grand opening sale. I got some cute t-shirts for Adam and I, toys for Lily and these ADORABLE little shoes for Lily. They are velcro and are the kind that blink when you walk. Mom says Lily has to start wearing shoes or she'll hate them while she's a toddler.

Last day for Belts was today. Adam went there for us because Lily was taking a well needed nap. He said the line was ridiculous - I can imagine...and Adam HATES waiting in lines! It seems that we really only basically went because it was the last day not really cuz we craved the cream because both of us only really ate enuf to get down to the level of the cup. So ours and Lily's will remain in the freezer til a future date.

Stratford Rocks.

Well, the game was quite ridiculous. It was Assumption's (Rapids) homecoming game and the final score was Stratford 82 vs Assumption 12. Eek. Felt bad for them a little. Their band was really good though...lots of running around while playing. Their flagettes on the other hand were horrible. They barely even did anything besides like putting flags up then down then up then down. wow.

Rollercoaster day

Well, I really don't know what to say about today. Today was like an emotional rollercoaster. Adam and I had a squabble this morning at 6:30am. All is well now...actually kinda totally opposite of this morning. We have been extremely happy and close today since the fight. Which is good - I like making up.
My parents drove around all day looking at the trees change colors. At least it actually seems like fall now, which is nice. Actually, did we SKIP fall, there is a Frost Warning tonight that just popped on the tv.
Red Sox lost today so they are done for the year. Adam was upset but took it surprisingly well. We went to Applebee's right after the game and had a couple of drinks and some really yummy pasta dishes. Then we came home to take a nap and hope that our friends give us a call with something fun to do...
It's midnight and Lily is sleeping (in her crib - WOOHOO) and Adam and I are wide awake again! No contact from the friends though. bah.
Tomorrow Adam, Lily & I are going to a Stratford Football game in Rapids. We are caravaning with Adam's Mom and sister Michelle and a truckload of her friends. Michelle's boyfriend is playing in the game so that's why we are going to that...well, and the opportunity for some Johnson family fun. We are actually planning on going to another Stratford game next week too. It's the annual Stratford-Edgar game which seems to be a big deal to those Stratitarians.

Lily webpage insanity

So, I my dad sent me this link of this guy who made an adorable webpage for his new baby. This, of course prompted me to make Lily her own homepage.
I go to geocities.com where all my other webpages are based out of. I register her and when it comes to the birthday part I put in her bday 1/14/05 but when I submit it comes back as an error because you have to be at least 2 years old. So, then to damn the man I change her bday to 1/14/03. Then, to actually get her activated I have to put in my info including credit card info to verify it's okay for her to have yahoo. Next, I get the verification email and She's good to go. I then go back to geocities and they it says "you must be at least 18 to use this feature" DAMNIT an hour wasted.
So, now she has a new webpage. Oh, and in their minds she was now born 1/14/1978. muhahaha - Damn the man!!! (watched Empire records today if you are curious)
*UPDATE* - I ended up moving the page because the ads bug me... http://dads-computers.com/lilyjohnson/lily.htm

Lily + ice cream = disaster

Yeah, so we went to Belt's today - Me, Mom, Dad and Lily...
and all got ice cream cones sized medium - now if you know belts that's more like XXL size and it was HOT today (what happened to the fall-like can-actually-wear-my-hoodies weather?) well, Lily got a baby cone and they gave me a little cup to put it in if I needed to. While by the time Dad and I got back to the car with all the ice cream they were all melty already. So, I put Lily's in the little cup while i got in the car. I fed her some ice cream (oh, btw when the guy handed me her cone she immediately SPIT out her nuk) and when i turned to eat some of my melty blue moon cone she grabbed the little cup filled with melted cream and dumped it on her legs... the whole ride back home was disasterous and I had to give her a second bath for the day.
Lily loves her ice cream.

PCA Professionals

Well, Mom finally got me to take Lily in to get some "professional" pictures at the local Wal-Mart. We put her in her Miniature Bride outfit and yes, she was adorable. It then took us like an extra 45 minutes to decide what package to go with and how many picts we need to give them to family and such. Oh boy.
I bought the "disk" of pictures (yeah, a 3 1/2" floppy not of the CDR variety of course...and I don't even have a floppy drive these days so I had to use my parentals computer and burn a CD) and the picts are like 50k a piece - wow that was worth it.
Well, I'll post a good picture as soon as I get one but for now...

Trivia Trivia..catching up?

Well, now that the renewal is over I'm trying to get back to my trivia insanity. I've joined Netflicks and am trying to knock out some of the New Releases that haven't been done yet. I took notes on 3 movies in a 24 hour span which was interesting. I'm the only one to take notes on a movie in October...so far that is.
I'm actually all caught up on my tv shows so far which makes me so proud. Last year I thought I'd catch up after I had Lily, but babies take time [who knew ;) ]

Blast from the past

So, today I got an email from JEREMY! Long time no see/hear from. And I notice that Bill has a Livejournal and there is a post about our basement days and "As the Discoball turns"
Sweet memories.
