Preschool Field Trip to the UWSP Museum

Today we went on a field trip to the UWSP Museum. We all walked from the YMCA to the UWSP Library where the museum is located. First they showed us a corn snake and talked about snakes. Then they show us a turtle shell and talked about those for a while. Then, we each got a scavenger hunt sheet and we had to find 12 of the animals on the sheet in the museum. It was a fun time!

The Oscars / Lily cuts her hair

Tonight was the Oscars so we had our friends over. I printed out ballots so we could see who would get the most right. Eric won by a large amount (he had 12 out of 18 correct). I made meatballs and noodles for everyone which was yummy. Lily was playing in her room and came out to the living room where Vanessa noticed her hair looked funny. Lily had cut her own bangs! They used to be long enough to go in her ponytail but now one side goes to her eyebrows and the other side goes to the bottom of her ears. We are going to get her hair cut on Wednesday...back to regular bangs I guess!

Lily's 2nd Dance Recital

Today was Lily's second dance recital. This one was more ballet and the last one was more jazz. It was so cute seeing the little girls dance, especially when they do the ballet moves. Today was also the last class in this session of dance but I've already signed her up for the next one which starts on Monday.

Aaron's Birthday Party at Joe's

Today we celebrated Aaron's birthday at Joe's Bar. Michelle watched Lily tonight so we both could go out. We hung out, drank, played the megatouch and the jukebox, darts and pool. It was a really fun time!

Superbowl Sunday

Today was the Superbowl. Now, everyone knows I hate football but I watch the Superbowl for the commercials and the snacks. Chuck, Aaron and Michelle came over to watch it with us. I made a spicy Velvety dip and beer dip for snacks and we also got some hot wings from KFC during halftime. It was fun and luckily the Steelers won so Adam was in a good mood!
