Tara & Craig's wedding

Tara and Craig got married at Celebration Church. They showed a nice slideshow before the ceremony which was different but a nice lead in to the wedding since the last photo in the slideshow was their engagement announcement from the newspaper. The wedding was pretty and Lily was really good which is always nice. She played with some M&Ms I brought and the bottle of bubbles they gave her. After the wedding we went to grab some lunch at McDonalds because we hadn't eaten at all yet. We met our friends (Aaron & Vanessa, George & Tiffany, and Eric) at the reception a little before dinner. Dinner was nice except we couldn't hear any of the speeches and toasts because we had a table of rude people behind us who were just loud and rowdy.
After dinner there was a bunch of time and a lot of kids passed the time by running around and playing tag on the dancefloor. Lily loved that of course and was running like a crazy fool and rolling around like a log. She danced on the dancefloor once the music began and was out there for all the songs until someone stepped on her foot during a crazy polka. She came to me for comfort and then fell asleep because she hadn't had a nap at all. I called my parents because it was only 9 and we wanted to stay a little longer than that. So, Vanessa and I dropped off Lily and ran to walmart because Vanessa needed more comfy shoes. The rest of the reception was fun except they played a lot of uncensored rap. There are a couple of words I didn't think I'd ever hear at a wedding reception and they played them all! I spent alot of time trying to get a nice photo of Adam, George and Aaron but they kept making crazy faces and weird gestures just to drive me crazy. Overall we had a great time. Adam and I went to pick up Lily at my parents and found that she had quite the temper tantrum when she woke up but once she stopped crying she was fine. She told me that she 'was crying for mama' and 'was naughty and kicked Grandpa'

A Fun Cousin Visit

Katie, Jeremy, Savannah and Heidi had a baby shower to go to in Wausau so they decided to stay in point so we could also get together. We had dinner at Charcoal grill which was good even though Lily was being terror and didn't want to sit at all. She kept getting up and running away wanted to go to the bathroom but never would go once we got there. After dinner we went back to our place and hung out watching football while Savannah and Lily got to play in Lily's room. They left kinda early because we were all tired but it was really nice to be able to get together with them. It's fun watching the kids play because Katie and I used to be just like that. My parents have this photo of Katie and I when we were little and when Lily first saw it she said it was a picture of her and Savannah! So cute!

Wo-Zha-Wa 2007

We woke up super early because we had to all meet at my parents house at 7am! We got to the dells and went shopping. Adam and I bought a sweet Buddha and a silly looking Pelican for Lily. For dinner, we went to the Stand Rock Buffet at the Ho Chunk Casino. It was by far the best buffet I have ever been to. Usually when I got to buffet I try a bunch of stuff but only think 1 or 2 things is good enough to get again. At this buffet there was so much food and everything I tried was delicious! After we were done with dinner we quickly got ready and headed to our hotel's waterpark. Steve, Lori, Matt, Danny, Johnny & Adam, Lily and I split a combination room at the Kalahari. It was really nice because there were two separate rooms and then a living room and full kitchen in the middle. Anyways, we got to the waterpark at about 9:15 and it closed at 10 so we got in as much swimming as possible. Lily liked the wavepool because she run up to it and try to run back before getting wet.
The next morning we were awakened by a phone call from Becky. We had earlier discussed eating breakfast at Paul Bunyan's at about 7am. So, Becky called us all at 7am from Paul Bunyan wondering where we were. So, we all got ready at got there at about 8am. I stopped on the way there to take a photo with the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile which was staying at our hotel. We had a yummy breakfast and went back to the hotel to pack up our stuff. Then we went downtown and found a really good free parking spot only 2 blocks away from where we watch the parade. We all met at our family parade spot (thanks to Mom & Dad for setting it up the night before) and watched the parade. Lily and Johnny had alot of fun dancing together to all the marching bands' music.
After the parade there was so sort of police drama so there was a big traffic jam. Once we were finally able to get back to our hotel we went swimming again. Lily and Johnny were having a blast together in the kiddie area. They were basically playing follow the leader through the little water geysers and through the big tree. Eventually they both got brave enough to slide down the kiddie elephant slide and then they did that over and over. Adam went on a bunch of the waterslides with Matt & Danny while Lily and I hung out in the lazy river. Then Adam took Lily down some of the kiddie waterslides and almost drowned when he went down the waterslide with Lily on his head. At about 6:30pm we all decide it was time to start heading home because we were all really tired.

Pacelli Panacea 2007

Adam, Lily and I went to Pacelli Panacea with my parents today. Lily made me got on a bunch of rides with her including the Carousel, the Firetruck ride, and the Dragon. The dragon ride was pretty crazy because I was pretty smashed in and it really whips around the corners. The little girl in front of my kept turning back and looking at me like 'why is she screaming'! She loved all the rides and wanted to go on them over and over. We also played some games while we were there. Adam played a dart game and won Lily three cute posters for her room. Then, Lily picked some ducks twice and won a inflatable hammer and an adorable husky.

Stratford Photo Shoot

We took some nice photos of us to frame and give to Adam's mom on her birthday which is at the end of the month. We decided this weekend to give her the presents early because she discovered the photos on Michelle's camera and we are going to a Wedding the weekend of her actual birthday.

Wii disasters and some fun in the Strat

We went to Stratford again this weekend so Adam's parents could help Adam try to modify his Nintendo Wii this weekend. There was soldering involved and something got messed up and they ended up not being able to modify it at all. Also, now the drive doesn't read disks so they only thing you can use it for is downloading and playing Virtual Console games like old school Nintendo games.
Lily had lots of fun as usual. She played in the sandbox, swam in the hot tub, and lounged around watching movies on Adam's mom's computer. Michelle also made some goop for her which she thought was pretty cool. We also went to Marshfield on Saturday and got to eat at Taco John's!

Labor Day in the Strat

We went to Stratford to visit Adam's family this weekend. Friday we just hung out and went into the hot tub a couple of times. Saturday we took a trip to Marshfield for some shopping fun at the local Wal*Mart. Then, we had steak and corn on the cob for dinner and Lily even helped cook. They have just gotten a Wii so we played that pretty much all weekend. I played mostly Wii Tennis and MarioKart Double Dash with them. Adam is crazy competitive and credits his "total domination" to "Gamer Fuel". Lily also showed us how talented she is with her feet and how she likes to scare us with her purple "monster glove"
