Wo-Zha-Wa 2007
We woke up super early because we had to all meet at my parents house at 7am! We got to the dells and went shopping. Adam and I bought a sweet Buddha and a silly looking Pelican for Lily. For dinner, we went to the Stand Rock Buffet at the Ho Chunk Casino. It was by far the best buffet I have ever been to. Usually when I got to buffet I try a bunch of stuff but only think 1 or 2 things is good enough to get again. At this buffet there was so much food and everything I tried was delicious! After we were done with dinner we quickly got ready and headed to our hotel's waterpark. Steve, Lori, Matt, Danny, Johnny & Adam, Lily and I split a combination room at the Kalahari. It was really nice because there were two separate rooms and then a living room and full kitchen in the middle. Anyways, we got to the waterpark at about 9:15 and it closed at 10 so we got in as much swimming as possible. Lily liked the wavepool because she run up to it and try to run back before getting wet.
The next morning we were awakened by a phone call from Becky. We had earlier discussed eating breakfast at Paul Bunyan's at about 7am. So, Becky called us all at 7am from Paul Bunyan wondering where we were. So, we all got ready at got there at about 8am. I stopped on the way there to take a photo with the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile which was staying at our hotel. We had a yummy breakfast and went back to the hotel to pack up our stuff. Then we went downtown and found a really good free parking spot only 2 blocks away from where we watch the parade. We all met at our family parade spot (thanks to Mom & Dad for setting it up the night before) and watched the parade. Lily and Johnny had alot of fun dancing together to all the marching bands' music. After the parade there was so sort of police drama so there was a big traffic jam. Once we were finally able to get back to our hotel we went swimming again. Lily and Johnny were having a blast together in the kiddie area. They were basically playing follow the leader through the little water geysers and through the big tree. Eventually they both got brave enough to slide down the kiddie elephant slide and then they did that over and over. Adam went on a bunch of the waterslides with Matt & Danny while Lily and I hung out in the lazy river. Then Adam took Lily down some of the kiddie waterslides and almost drowned when he went down the waterslide with Lily on his head. At about 6:30pm we all decide it was time to start heading home because we were all really tired. VIDEO: Johnny and Lily waving during Parade HERE
