This weekend we played both the Lawrence Trivia Contest and the Park Falls Trivia Contest. Friday night Adam and I were the only ones playing Lawrence and we only played until about 2am. At that point we had pretty much had enough of that contest. Saturday we just hang out and barely listened to Lawrence. When Park falls started we played that seriously and that one was fun. We ended up winning the contest even though we missed a silly local question. We got $175 for winning and also won a drawing which including winning some flambeaurama tshirts and a gift certificate for a place in Prentice where we can get free pizza and beer.

We went to playgroup today for a puppet show. A bunch of the kids decided they wanted to wear costumes. Lily put on a unicorn costume and she was having a blast chasing the other kids. It was a little hard getting her to leave the costume at playgroup.

We decided to take Lily to the McDonalds on HWY 10 so she could play in the playplace. She has been wanting to go there for a long time now. She had alot of fun and finally got brave enough to climb up and all around. There were a lot of other kids there so they had oodles of fun in all the tubes and thinks. She loved going into to observation space ship tunnel and then trying to get our attention. Since it was her birthday she also got a free ice cream cone. She loved it! Today was Lily's 3rd Birthday party. Gwyn came by early to help us decorate with baloons, streamers and banners. Also, in attendance were my parents, Adam's parents, Michelle, Katie & Savannah, Tabitha, Mary, George, Becky & Braeden. The packer game was on during the party but I tried to keep the volume of the tv at a minimum. The kids had fun playing together with the fridge magnets, all of the toys in Lily's room, and some leaky glow sticks. Lily had a Dora and Diego cake this year which had a strawberry filling inside it. She had fun tearing into all her presents and wanted to play with them immediately. We had our annual January Trivia meeting at my house today. We discussed many things and it was a very productive meeting overall. We narrowed down our team theme to 3 choices so I'll be starting a poll and see which wins.

Today we had a little party at Eric's House. We played SceneIt for a while then we also played Brain Matter, Apples to Apples, & Would you Rather. This year we celebrated New Years at my parents house with my parents, Cindy & family, Becky & family, and Gwyn. We hung out, colored, ate finger foods and played with some toys, including Lily's new "Hippie House" (It's a house that you can plant seeds around and it grows grass and clovers) which we decorated with Happy New Year beads. Adam had a good time trying to trade things in his wallet for a $50 gift card that Danielle had. She didn't go for it.
