Today we played the Park Farks Trivia Contest. It is an okay contest normally but this year most of their questions were so vague that there could be like 20 possible answers and the only way to get the points was to call in what they wanted. Also a lot of their answers were actually incorrect but they still wouldn't throw anything out. It was really frustrating. We did have fun hanging out though. Lily has been in the "Little Dancers" class at the YMCA since the beginning of this month. It is for 3-5 year old kids and is an introduction to dance. It's an 8 week class and on the 4th and 8th weeks they put on a little show. It's really neat how they have all these little tricks to get the kids to do different dance moves and even some for warming up and stretching. The kids were so adorable in their little tutus.

Today Lily and I went to the Ice Cream Social at the YMCA. Adam was supposed to come with but he is sick. We had lots of fun there. She got her face painted and played many many games. Lily is really good at the bean bag toss so we played that over and over until she had enough tickets to win what she wanted. Today was Lily's first time at the dentist. I wasn't sure how she was going to react but she ended up doing great. I'm taking her to this super kid-friendly place so they really knew how to talk to kids. First she had her xrays taken (which they made me a copy of!) and then they put her in the dentist chair. She got to watch "Spongebob Squarepants" so she didn't really care what they were doing. After they were done they gave her a bag of goodies including toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, a sticker, a magnet, and she also go to pick out a toy!

Lately we've been working in the basement alot. Eric got some free carpet at work so we decided to recarpet the whole basement. We also built more bookshelves for the library. After we had the carpet laid we also rebuilt and repainted the desks to make them more study and look better. It's been a busy month. MORE PHOTOS: At Dotphoto HERE

Today was Lily's birthday party. I decorated the night before which was good because the day of I was running around like a madwoman. I went to pick up ice, balloons, and some Arby's beef and when I was at Arby's my car died. So, then I had to call my parents to bring their magic charging thing to jump my car. After that I made it home where I made taco dip and chicken nuggets. My house was full of people and luckily I had borrowed a few chairs from my parents. Lily, Savannah and Remy spent most of the time playing in Lily's room. Then, Lily opened all her presents and then we had cake. Today was Lily's first day in her new dance class called "Little movers" at the YMCA. It's every Monday from 11am til 11:30am. She did really well and had a lot of fun. Then, she wanted to go out an buy a tutu for dancing. They are going to put on a little show in a couple weeks and I can't wait to see what they have all learned (parents could only watch the first dance class) VIDEO: Plea practice, Lily does Jumping exercises
