We played in a small 6-hour trivia contest (4pm-10pm) at K106 in Adams, WI. We couldn't get in the station but we listened to it via webstreaming. It was a fun contest pretty much the same as the real deal, but the point system was a little different. There was 3 music snippets that we kicked butt on which helped us WIN the contest. They are going to send us free tshirts and a trophy! This was a nice short contest that I'd easily play again.

Today at 9am Aaron, Vanessa, Lily and I went on a walk campaigning for Wiza for Mayor. We were given a HUGE area of houses to go to and walked from 9am-2pm! Lily started in the stroller for a while, then walked for a while, was carried by Aaron for a while and then went back in the stroller. We were basically just putting informational sheet of paper in peoples screen doors. We only ended up actually talking to a few people. It was fun until we started getting tired which was about the same time as when it got really cold and started to rain. Of course when we decided we were done we were WAY FAR AWAY from where we had parked the car. I had to cover Lily's stroller up with a blanket so she wouldn't get too cold and wet. She ended up falling asleep riding to the car. Adam was at a dart tournament with Janet while we were doing the walk but he was done with that around 11... of course he didn't want to join on our insanity so he stayed at my parents house playing computer games on his computer
After the walk we stopped at Hardees to grab some food and then Aaron & Vanessa went home to nap. I had big plans for napping but only probably slept for about 5 minutes because once I finally fell asleep Lily woke up. Then, we got ready to play the Trivia Turmoil contest...

Today we went to a special Easter playgroup. First Lily decorated a bag with stampers. She soon discovered it was really fun to soak her fingers in the ink pad and then make fingerprints on her bag. Then we did this crazy project where you put a bunch of shaving cream on a cookie sheet,add food coloring, mix it all around, transfer it on an egg-shaped piece of paper, wipe off the shaving cream and have a beautiful paper egg.

Today we had lots of fun playing. First we played in the neighbors sandbox for a while. Then, we had lots of fun playing in the playground at Menards. Lily ran all over the place having a blast. After all that fun she took a nice, long nap. VIDEO: Grandpa helping Lily on a fun ride at Menards

Today we played in the Medford Trivia contest. The theme was 007 Trivia and on their website they listed 6 different James Bond flicks. So, between Adam, Eric and I we watched them all before the contest. Then, of course they don't really ask any real trivia questions from them just random stuff like which actor was in all the films, they described a few of them and you had to call in with which movies they were describing etc. They did ask one trivia question from the new bond movie (which wasn't on their list) but we did get it right anyways. It's always fun playing small 6-hour trivia contests because you aren't TOO exhausted by the end of them. Although Lily did fall asleep while eating pizza. We ended up taking 2nd place!

Today, Lily actually let me put her hair in pigtails so we had to take some cute photos!

On Monday, my parents, Lily and I all went up to see Becky & family because they needed help figuring stuff out on their new computer. I helped them for a while and my Dad was reading Lily a story on the couch when all of a sudden she threw up! This surprised us because she's only thrown up once before in her lifetime and also because she seemed fine earlier in the day. So, we borrowed some clothes for her and then she seemed okay again. This was not the case though because she was sick all night long. Thursday she was running around again and we were hanging out doing trivia stuff in the basement. I was starting to feel nauseous so I went and layed down in the bed upstairs and we decided to spend the night. At 2am I was started throwing up and at 3am lily threw up on me in the bed so we had to throw her in the bathtub. It was all pretty gross. Friday I just layed around my parents house sipping Sierra Mist and eating crackers. We had already planned to paint the DCHQ annual wall and everyone had off of work that wanted to participate so we did that anyways. I just kinda sat in the recliner down there and watched and of course took some picts. Once if finally started feeling better, Adam caught the bug and stayed home Sunday and Monday himself. We are happy to be healthy again!

This weekend we didn't do that much. Adam had a major toothache which he had been suffering from for a while. Once he finally decided he wasn't going to make it until Monday morning, we had to get ahold of the on-call dentist. The dentist was actually at a dental conference in Milwaukee but came back to town and pulled Adam's troublesome wisdom tooth. Once the dentist got there it only took like 15 minutes to do everything. Adam was instructed to continue taking the Vicodin and antibiotics and also now ibuprofen. He is still really sore and stayed home Monday & Tuesday from work. Besides trying to help my hubby I didn't do all that much. We hung with my parents house all weekend which was relaxing.
Monday our new bed was delivered. It's nice, fluffy and huge. Lily can't get up on it without climbing on the side table first. Last night I even slept 12 hours in my new comfy bed!
